Use a grid with as many squares as you need for your sketch.
You can draw lines, curves, circles, ellipses and arcs on the grid.
Choose any font you like, but only one size which fits between two grid lines.
Text can be bold or slanted or a combination of both.
Two stroke widths are possible. One should approximately match the stroke width of normal font and the other of bold font.
Strokes can be solid or dashed.
If your sketch contains points, they should be clearly visible.
Outlines can be filled like this:
0 | (unfilled) |
1 | as hatching |
2 | as background |
3 | as foreground |
Borders around fills can be full, partial, or undrawn.
A primary and a secondary color are available for drawing. Like the background color, these can be freely defined. Background fills allow the background to show through:
0 | Background |
1 | Primary color |
1b | as background fill |
2 | Secondary color |
2b | as background fill |
You can also invert colors, so that you draw with the background color.
Use the style options described above sparingly:
