Square Sight is a small indie studio based in Germany. It was founded in 2023 to develop Square Sketch by Daniel Roth, who works on it full-time solo.
After studying electrical engineering, I worked in hardware and software development for over 15 years.
During development, graph paper is usually kept next to the keyboard to capture ideas quickly and easily. This paper is also referred to as engineering paper.
Sometimes it was necessary to create clean digital versions for documentation. I never particularly enjoyed doing that because drawing apps were more cumbersome than pen and paper.
That's why I decided to develop an app that is easier to use.
