Grid

Illustration Illustration

The grid consists of squares, like graph paper. Objects should be placed on the grid lines whenever possible, but exceptions are possible.

Font

Illustration Illustration

Any font can be used, but, like a typewriter, only one font size is available. The font size is adjusted to the grid so that the text fits between two horizontal grid lines.

Monospaced layout

Illustration Illustration

For certain applications such as formulas, a monospaced layout can be used, where a character is exactly half a grid square wide.

Stroke width

Illustration Illustration

Two different stroke widths can be used. One of them corresponds approximately to the stroke width of normal font and the other of bold font.

Point

Illustration Illustration

To ensure good visibility of points, the radius depends on whether the point is placed freely, on a normal line, or on a bold line.

Highlighted

Illustration Illustration

A second color can be used for highlighting.

Dashed

Illustration Illustration

Strokes can be dashed.

Slanted

Illustration Illustration

Text can be slanted.

Inverted

Illustration Illustration

Objects can be inverted.

Inverted on fill

Illustration Illustration

Inverted objects should mainly be used on opaque fills only.
